Dark House

Congratulations and kudos to Indie Slate Magazine's longtime friend, producer-writer-director Darin Scott (The Brothers, Tales From the Hood, To Sleep With Anger), for winning the FrightFest Competition with his recent feature Dark House, described as a high-tech take on the traditional haunted house and starring horror vet Jeffrey Combs. The movie will be screened theatrically in limited release beginning July 30. Details at  Eventful Frightfest.

Watch for Darin's article in the next issue of Indie Slate (#61) on how producing in 3-D doesn't have to be a big-budget enterprise!
