These are just a few of the controversial subjects tackled in the brand new film from Writer/Director Matthew J. Avant, entitled "Lunopolis". Together with co-producer Hal Maynor, the filmmakers deconstruct our views of government and global conspiracy as we follow two small-time documentarians who accidentally uncover proof of a hidden city on the dark side of the moon… and the secret society determined to ensure it stays a secret.

On the run and committed to protecting themselves by filming their story, they keep the cameras rolling as they uncover earth's secret history, and the mysterious lunar artifact responsible. Touching on almost every conspiracy known to man, LUNOPOLIS creates a very entertaining blend of fact and fiction, resulting in a compelling and believable film that offers a surprisingly simple explanation for, well, almost everything.

The film continually delivers new reasons to explore history and examine what's hidden between the lines, by taking a tongue-in-cheek perspective on history and the way we look at it. Shown through the eye of a documentary lens, this story unravels as simply and believably as reality television from a not-so alternate universe.
